Note: 竹叶沟柯氏族谱，编撰人：柯愈柄，生于1857年，出生地宁强县胡家坝镇竹叶沟村。卒年不详。字孟权，号巽山。为光绪年间县吏。好书法、绘画，书体尤以楷、隶见长。该谱原老谱早年遭土匪时被土匪焚毁。其时编谱是由江西九江来人清谱时以大铭公口述上辈先祖名讳，然后由清谱人逐辈核对后由柯愈柄着手编成此谱。

竹叶沟柯氏族谱，编撰人：柯愈柄，生于1857年，出生地宁强县胡家坝镇竹叶沟村。卒年不详。字孟权，号巽山。为光绪年间县吏。好书法、绘画，书体尤以楷、隶见长。该谱原老谱早年遭土匪时被土匪焚毁。其时编谱是由江西九江来人清谱时以大铭公口述上辈先祖名讳，然后由清谱人逐辈核对后由柯愈柄着手编成此谱。
此谱虽看似简单粗劣，然其中人名后代序列却清晰明白，仍不失为修谱接续之重要资料。所列人名俱实无虚。其中人名瑞璜，实有其人。后辈虽与老谱接续小有误差，但上附地名皆有可考之处，如武昌府大冶县，即今黄石市阳新县；乐冶县，即今广西白色市乐业县；童川州中江县，即今德阳市中江县；铁锁关道沟；即今铁锁关镇平溪河村道沟。现有祖坟碑铭两栋，文字虽斑驳脱落，但大概内容仍可仔细辩认。

墓志铭: 记录: 尝思德自已积，善由人扬，如余乡彭儒人焉。乃日新铭公之原配，巽山先生之母也。生于汪家坝，婚于柯氏之家，所生三男二女，男教以耕田读书，女课以德言容工，长也列膠庠次也务农桑，三子随兄涌读，二女谨遵母训，贤哉柯母，不犹有巾帼生之遗风焉。况其执妇道也，明树畜以养老，尚勤俭以宜家，夫所谓内则无忝中之馈，称能者唯孺人焉。惜乎生平之愿未了，而竟报恨終天，享年四旬而卒，余列西席闻而叹曰：云山苍苍江水泱，孺人之德山高水长，竖碑誌墓百世流芳。大清光绪十有五年岁次巳丑姑洗月上浣二日穀旦立。 — March 2, 1889
